A rousing start for the division-leading Atlanta Falcons has paid off for Thomas Dimitroff.
The team on Monday signed their longtime general manager to a three-year contract extension that runs through 2019. Dimitroff's deal now mirrors that of head coach Dan Quinn, also signed through the 2019 campaign.
"I've seen the relationship between Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff grow over the last two years and we're seeing the fruits of their shared vision and plan coming together in our recent draft classes and free agent acquisitions," Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement.
