It was just two months ago that Brandon Weeden was filling in for an injured Tony Romo and trying to lead the Dallas Cowboys to the playoffs.
Now, Weeden relishes the fact that owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys will be watching postseason football from home. Oh, and chances are that he and his new team are still going to be playing come January.
Weeden started three games for Dallas this season, going 0-3 with just one touchdown pass and two interceptions. Weeden wound up losing the starting job to Matt Cassel and was the odd man out when Romo returned from his collarbone injury in mid-November.
