The Cardinals went from a Super Bowl Contender to a mediocre team. What happened?
Last season, the Arizona Cardinals had their best regular season in franchise history, winning 13 games with great talent on both sides of the ball, and there was plenty of optimism heading into the playoffs. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing postseason for the Cardinals, as they squeaked by a depleted Packers team 26-20 but were quickly humiliated by the Panthers in the NFC title game, 49-15.
Even with the disappointing exit, there was still a ton of Super Bowl buzz surrounding the Cardinals as they entered the 2016 season, and justifiably so.
