Eagles Rumors: Devin White Signs 1-Year Contract Worth Up to $7.5M After Bucs Stint

After spending the first five years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, linebacker Devin White has found a new home.

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, White has agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $7.5 million with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.

ESPN's Jenna Laine reported last year that White had requested to be traded from Tampa Bay because he was "unhappy in his current situation." A source told Laine that his "frustrations stem from negotiations over a new contract."

Just two days later, Bucs general manager Jason Licht said the team has "no intention" of trading White despite his request.
