Saquon Barkley’s Giants are 4-1, the Jets are 3-2, and DVOA is starting to take notice: both New York teams climbed into the middle of the pack thanks to impressive Week 5 victories.
The Giants rank 19th in DVOA entering Monday Night Football, up four spots from Week 4, after their 27-20 upset of the Green Bay Packers in London. The Jets climbed from 25th to 17th with their 40-17 blowout of the Miami Dolphins.
There was little movement at the top of the DVOA rankings, which remain unofficial until after Monday night. The Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens remain first, second and third after their victories in Week 5.
