He won’t gesture toward the three Super Bowl rings on his fingers, but he will assure you that he knows what he’s doing. He believes his history—along with head coach Pat Shurmur and the talented staff assembled, who have all been doing this a long time with various levels of success—deserve a level of trust from Giants fans.
I’ve heard him use that line a few times in recent press conferences, including the one he just conducted here in late July.
