Despite the lack of a current contract extension, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott could be on track to become the highest-paid player in the NFL.
During a Monday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed that Prescott may wait until he hits free agency in 2025 when "his price is going to be through the roof."
Schefter added that the Cowboys passer would "set the record as the highest-paid player" in the league, with his new contract containing a "number that we haven't seen before.
