On the surface, this move makes no sense.
If you are Ron Rivera - this move feels like a real threat to your job security. Anything less than a fast start and you can easily see ownership(whoever that may be), quickly pulling the plug in favor of EB.
If you are EB, on the surface, this doesn't feel like a lateral move but a demotion.
