NFL Offseason - In 2016, the Eagles traded five draft picks, including two first-rounders, for the second overall draft pick, which they used to select Carson Wentz. In 2021, the Colts traded two picks, one of which turned out to be a first-rounder, for Wentz. Today, the Washington Commanders traded two picks, believed to be a pair of third-rounders, to make Wentz their guy.
Wentz finished 17th in both DYAR and DVOA last season, a nice rebound from his disastrous 2020. But his Indianapolis tenure ended with an embarrassing loss to Jacksonville, the worst team in the league, when a win would have clinched a playoff berth.
