C.J. Spillman Found Guilty of Sexual Assault: Latest Comments and Reaction

Former Dallas Cowboys special teams player and defensive back C.J. Spillman was found guilty of sexual assault by a Tarrant County jury for an incident that occurred in a Dallas area hotel in September 2014, according to Claire Z. Cardona of the Dallas Morning News.

Samantha K. Jordan, the spokeswoman for the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office, noted that Spillman could get two to 20 years in prison and faces sentencing Friday morning.

The incident took place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, where Spillman was staying at the time.
