Chris Cooley played tight end for nine seasons in Washington and was a two-time Pro Bowler, but he hasn’t played since the 2012 season, when he caught just one pass. So there’s no way he could come back this year, is there?
Actually, Cooley says there’s a chance.
“If I went to camp, I could be anybody’s third tight end, worst case,” Cooley told Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post. “I have no doubt. Any team in the NFL, I could be their third tight end. There’s not a question in my mind.
