DeVonta Smith is going to be catching passes for the Philadelphia Eagles for years to come thanks to a development that will surely make other wide receivers around the league happy as well.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Smith and the Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a three-year, $75 million contract extension that features $51 million in guarantees.
It will keep him with the Eagles through the 2028 campaign and allow him to build on the back-to-back seasons of more than 1,000 receiving yards he just posted in 2022 and 2023.
