Cardinals Trade for Bills Guard Cody Ford

NFL Preseason Week 2 - The Arizona Cardinals have acquired Buffalo Bills guard Cody Ford in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

Drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Ford played 38 games and started in 29 for the Bills, playing both guard positions as well as right tackle. In 2021, Ford started seven of the 11 games he appeared in.

While Justin Pugh and Will Hernandez are both projected to start, Ford provides much-needed security for the Cardinals' beat-up offensive line. Arizona's rookie guard Marquis Hayes has been dealing with a knee issue since last week, while Danny Isadora is currently in a walking boot.
