Invoking flashbacks of another high-powered offense that led the Arizona Cardinals to their only Super Bowl appearance, Carson Palmer and his fellow gridiron geriatrics put on an exciting -- and slightly flawed -- performance Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
Chris Johnson continued to strengthen his comeback-of-year narrative, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown while Palmer completed 20 of 29 passes for 275 yards and two TDs as the Cardinals held off a thrilling comeback attempt by the Ravens to win, 26-18.
Tony Jefferson intercepted a Flacco pass in the end zone in the closing seconds to seal the win for the Cardinals.
