Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan went to Game 7 of the World Series, left before Chicago Cubs ended 108-year drought

Nevermind Buffalo's upcoming date with the Seahawks on 'Monday Night Football'.

The chance to see Rex Ryan's self-proclaimed favorite team, the Chicago Cubs, attempt to the end the longest title drought in American sports was too great for him to miss.

On Wednesday, an off day for the Bills players, Ryan and about a dozen staffers trekked to Cleveland, Ohio, where it would eventually be decided which team would end their title droughts first. Either Cleveland, who last one it all in 1948; or the Cubs, 108 years ago, in 1908.

With the game knotted 6-6 heading into extra innings, thanks to Indians outfielder Rajai Davis smacking a game-tying two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning, Ryan did the unthinkable.
