Browns sign Jadeveon Clowney in NFL free agency, bolstering pass rush opposite Myles Garrett

Andrew Berry has been relentless in chasing down certain edge defenders.

The Browns hope their new defensive ends will be as persistent in their pursuit of opposing quarterbacks.

Jadeveon Clowney signed a one-year contract with the Browns on Wednesday, when the three-time Pro Bowl selection visited team headquarters in Berea for the second time in a span of three weeks, the team announced. The deal is worth up to $10 million with incentives, a person familiar with the situation confirmed.

"Jadeveon's had a very productive career since 2014. We love his relentless style of play," Berry said in a news release.
