It appears that this time, Brandon Spikes is the victim, and something very deer to him was stolen.
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, the 2011 AFC Championship ring which popped up on eBay was stolen from Spikes.
Agent Gary Uberstine said a police report would be filed, and the online auction house has been notified.
The ring was sold yesterday for $19,499, though it’s unclear if that transaction has already gone through.
Spikes has had a bumpy relationship with the Patriots, going back to his suspension before the 2013 playoff opener when he was stuck in a snowstorm.
