NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino has spent a lot of time this offseason explaining to the Cowboys why Dez Bryant didn’t catch the ball in the playoff loss to the Packers.
Blandino talks to officials of every team about the rules and officiating, but he said he wanted to be sure to have face-to-face “lengthy discussions” with the Cowboys because he knows how upset they were about the ruling.
“I wanted to make sure that I was in Dallas this year, because obviously it was a controversial play,” Blandino told the Star-Telegram.
