After Saints owner Tom Benson bought the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, he increased Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis’s portfolio by making him the head of basketball operations as well.
Bills president Russ Brandon may be asking Loomis for some advice about handling jobs for two teams at the same time. Terry and Kim Pegula also own the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL and the Sabres announced on Monday that Brandon will take over as the president of the team.
“Since we purchased the Buffalo Bills last October, we have been highly impressed with the business acumen that Russ has shown with the Bills,” the Pegulas said in a statement.
