Bills place Aaron Kromer on indefinite paid leave after arrest

The Bills made the expected move Tuesday, after offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested for punching a minor.

The team announced they had placed Kromer on indefinite paid leave, which is the same thing that would have happened if a player had been arrested for a violent crime under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

Team president Russ Brandon issued a brief statement, saying they placed him on leave “while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league.”

In the short term, that means the Bills are going to need a new offensive line coach, with about two weeks before the start of training camp.
