ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Quarterback Tyrod Taylor and the Buffalo Bills overcame another series of preseason distractions to beat the Giants, 21-0, on Saturday.

Taylor zipped a 13-yard touchdown pass over the middle to LeSean McCoy to cap his fourth and final series. Taylor’s backup, E. J. Manuel, then secured the win by leading two touchdown drives on an afternoon that had begun with Buffalo cutting the backup running back Karlos Williams and announcing that defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, the team’s highest-paid player, was entering a rehabilitation clinic.
