Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien recently stated he was wary of having his parents — especially his mother, Anne — watch his performance in HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” mostly due to the fact they might witness some unsavory things coming out of his mouth as he coaches up his players.
“She’s not going to be very happy with me,” O’Brien said.
Despite his warning, Mama O’Brien, an Irish-Catholic, did in fact watch an episode of “Hard Knocks,” and suffice to say, she was a bit taken aback by her son’s potty mouth.
“To be honest with you, he doesn’t talk like that when he’s home at all,” Anne O’Brien told KHOU 11 News in a phone call after watching Tuesday’s episode.
