The Chicago Bears have reportedly released cornerback Kyle Fuller after seven years with the team, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rapoport clarified that the move was made to clear cap space for the Bears. Brad Biggsof theChicago Tribune noted that the Bears would have taken a $20 million cap hit by keeping Fuller aboard.
The two-time Pro Bowler and 2018 All-Pro has 390 tackles, 82 passes defended and 19 interceptions for his career with the Bears, who took Fuller with the 14th overall selection in the 2014 NFL draft.
