Bears' Chase Claypool to be inactive vs. Broncos, source confirms

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool will be inactive against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, a source confirmed to ESPN.

It will be the first missed game this season for Claypool, who expressed frustration with his usage in the Bears offense on Friday.

The Bears are also making an adjustment to their depth chart at quarterback, where rookie Tyson Bagent will now be the backup behind Justin Fields, according to a source.

Claypool said Friday that he did not think he has been put in the best position to showcase his skill set in Chicago's offense, saying he has "been adapting to the new system and my new role in the system and trying to make the most out of it.
