Any Given Sunday

I think, aesthetically, I was hoping the Rams would not be good again. I don't mean that as a slight to Rams fans. What I mean is that the Rams are as close as the NFL has come in a long time to just having one offensive coach controlling the entire game successfully. When the Rams crashed and burned last year as Sean McVay had to deal with their play-action game stagnating and the running game hitting a wall, I enjoyed it because one of my favorite parts of NFL football is the quarterback battle. Jared Goff is -- to steal a Ben Muth quote we posted in Audibles in Week 1 -- a JUGS machine playing quarterback.
