Every year, HBO and NFL Films find someone to serve as the focal point of Hard Knocks, which returns tonight with the Texans as this season’s subject of the show.
But don’t count on any team coached by Andy Reid ever doing it.
Appearing on Monday’s PFT Live, the third-year Chiefs coach said he’s got no interest in exposing his team to the show. He also addressed a couple of the common story lines from the annual reality show regarding America’s ultimate reality show: players fighting and players losing their jobs.
The extended chat with Coach Reid focused on plenty of other topics relevant to his team (including the return of Eric Berry and expectations for Eric Fisher) and to getting his team ready to go for a season in which the Chiefs hope to get back to the playoffs.
