Alex Boone to Vikings: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

After spending the first six years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, offensive lineman Alex Boone will now be suiting up for the Minnesota Vikings.

Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the agreement, citing a source. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed the agreement, adding that Boone was the team's "guard of choice after Kelechi Osemele.

The 28-year-old Boone was a pillar of San Francisco's offensive success, especially in the running game, from 2011-14. He emerged from the shadows as an undrafted free agent in 2009, playing in all 16 games during his second season and being a full-time starter in 2012.
