After breaking record, Peyton Manning throws three interceptions

DENVER – On a day when the Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning did set a new NFL record for a career passing yards – a 4-yard flip to running back Ronnie Hillman pushed him past Brett – the Broncos suffered through their worst half of offense of the season and Manning suffered through one of the worst two quarters of football in his career.

The Broncos mustered just 40 yards worth of offense, Manning threw three interceptions and the Broncos trailed 19-0 at halftime. It was a sign of things to come when Manning’s first pass attempt of the day was intercepted and he was sacked, for a two-yard loss, and fumbled on his second drop-back of the day – the play before he set the record.
