NFL Playoff Picture: NFC Clinching Scenarios, Seeding, Path To Playoffs And Standings Entering Week 17

The Final NFC Playoff Picture, schedule, clinching and seed scenarios is here for Week 17 of 2019. There’s just one week left in the NFL regular season and only one team has locked into its seed and spot in the NFC Playoff race. Seeds #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 are all still up for grabs.

The NFC Playoff Picture is tight right now, with the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks are still in the mix for the #1 seed and home field advantage. That means there are numerous clinching scenarios for all of those teams.

The Dallas Cowboys, strangely enough, are still alive in the NFC East hunt. But they need help, namely the Eagles losing to the Giants. So should Cowboys fans even hope to beat the Redskins?

The 49ers can finish in one of two places: #1 or #5. That’s it and their spot will be determined on Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks, who just brought back Marshawn Lynch. Crazy, right?

The Saints and Packers are likely fighting for the #2 or #3 seed and neither can finish any lower than that. But both teams have something to play for in the final week of the season, unlike the Vikings. They are locked into the #6 spot.

Updated 2019 NFC playoff picture is detailed below:
#1 49ers (12-3) - Clinched Playoff Spot
#2 Packers (12-3) - Clinched NFC North
#3 Saints (12-3) - Clinched NFC South
#4 Eagles (8-7)
#5 Seahawks (11-4) - Clinched Playoff Spot
#6 Vikings (10-5) - Clinched Playoff Spot

In The Hunt:
Cowboys (7-8)
