Day 1 of 2020 NFL Free Agency is in the books & although there was a shortage of NFL free agency signings, there were a few blockbuster NFL trades that went down involving the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans & San Francisco 49ers. Teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins & Atlanta Falcons were rather quiet while the Cleveland Browns were the most active team in terms of making NFL free agency moves.

The biggest NFL news of the day was the Houston Texans trading DeAndre Hopkins & a 4th round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for David Johnson & a 2nd round pick. The San Francisco 49ers made a big trade sending DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts for the 13th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Niners also re-signed Arik Armstead to a 5-yr $85 MM deal. The Cleveland Browns signed Austin Hooper, Jack Conklin & Case Keenum, wasting no time getting deals made this NFL off-season.
The Baltimore Ravens traded for Calais Campbell before they traded Hayden Hurst to the Falcons in exchange for a 2nd round pick. The Falcons also cut Devonta Freeman, creating a void to fill at running back. In other free agency news, the Dolphins signed Ereck Flowers to a big contract & the Cardinals placed the franchise tag on Kenyan Drake.
