The Latest NFL Rumors On Antonio Cromartie, Bills And Kroy Biermann, Injuries And More

The preseason and training camps are now in full swing for every NFL team. That means a few of the remaining veterans are being signed, sometimes to replace players who went down with injuries. Week 2 of the preseason is still a few days away, but there are plenty of news and rumors tidbits to get to. With that in mind, here are all the NFL latest news and rumors you need to know.

Bills Adding Kroy Biermann
Despite Rex Ryan disputing an earlier report, the Bills will indeed add DE/OLB Kroy Biermann.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported it would be so earlier on Monday.

The move was put in doubt for a bit when Ryan said they hadn't added Biermann.

Of course, adding Biermann made perfect sense and fill a need. The Bills are without pass rushers Shaq Lawson (for at least a few weeks to start the regular season, and IK Enemkpali is out for the year.

O'Brien Schofield Has Multiple Offers?
There aren't many notable free agents left, but OLB O'Brien Schofield is among them. ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports he has multiple offers waiting for him.

Former Falcons OLB O'Brien Schofield worked out for the Patriots last week and is currently mulling six offers, according to source. He plans to make a decision in the next two weeks. Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Schofield is never ruled out.

A former fourth round pick, Schofield had 30 tackles and two sacks for the Falcons last year. Among the other teams mentioned in the past with Schofield are the Cowboys, Bears and Jaguars.

Will Antonio Cromartie Play This Year?
The corner is coming off a rough season with the New York Jets, but at age 32, it's a bit of a surprise he hasn't found a new home yet. However, Cromartie told NFL.com he thinks he'll sign with a team soon.

"I think right now, everyone just wants to see the younger guys, the guys they drafted," Cromartie said. "But you also have to look at it this way -- I'm 32 years old, going into my 11th year. My 2015 campaign wasn't a great campaign and I think if you look at the first 10 games of the 2015 season it wasn't great at all for me. My last six games were more like me...I think something is going to happen for me soon so I'm looking forward to it."

Ian Rapoport reported earlier this offseason that a hip injury could force Cromartie to retire, but Cromartie clearly doesn't feel that way. Perhaps an injury to a starting corner could prompt a team to add Cromartie.
