The NFL regular season is right around the corner, so who are some potential breakout players to watch out for this season? Every year there are dozens of breakout players and some teams have multiple breakout players. Patrick Mahomes had a stellar breakout year in 2018 and won the MVP. Now not sure if any of the players below will be the 2019 MVP, but hey, you never know!
What is a breakout player? Our definition at Chat Sports is a player who makes a leap in both his production and overall development. Just because the player is a breakout, that doesn’t mean they will make the Pro Bowl, rather, they are about to have a career year! Also, no rookies!
