It has been a hard-fought season for Newcastle under difficult circumstances and although out of Europe, Eddie Howe is getting his players back and things are starting to look up.
However, if Howe has been writing to Santa this Christmas, there would be a decent list created:
Goalkeeper - would not have been top of the list in October but with Nick Pope out long term, this is the number one present we are after.
Midfield - The present you already know is coming, Kalvin Phillips is the priority but regardless, a midfielder will be brought in in my opinion.
