Was the message I can shoulder the responsibility? Newcastle United fans left bemused after new signing Kieran Trippier points to the SLEEVE and not the club badge in his official unveiling

Kieran Trippier has already made his mark with Newcastle fans, after bizarrely pointing to the clubs sleeve sponsor, online travel agency Kayak, rather than the club crest following his official unveiling.

The 31-year-old became Newcastle United's first signing under their Saudi-backed owners in a £12million deal from Atletico Madrid.

Trippier agreed terms on a two-and-a-half-year deal with option of a further year, following two-and-a-half years in the Spanish capital with the La Liga giants.
