Tottenham's on-loan star Danny Rose reveals he wants to play for Brendan Rodgers... but jokes 'someone will have to buy Ben Chilwell first' when asked about possible link up at Leicester

Danny Rose has revealed he would like to play for Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers before he finishes his career.

The Tottenham left-back, currently on loan at Newcastle, has 13 months left on his contract at Spurs but is thought to be surplus to requirements in north London.

Rose worked with Rodgers briefly during a loan spell at Watford in the 2008-09 campaign and ever since that period, he has been keen to revive the arrangement.
