Steve Bruce will reportedly not be sacked by Newcastle United despite the club's dismal form.

Pressure has been growing on the Newcastle head coach after a comprehensive 3-0 defeat by fellow strugglers Brighton left them just two points above the Premier League relegation zone.

It appears most fans have had enough with fan survey in local paper Chronicle Live revealing that 95% want Bruce to leave the club.

And the Telegraph report the 60-year-old held a series of talks at the training ground on Monday, including with managing director Lee Charnley.
