Steve Bruce insists he warned the Premier League not to cut twice-weekly coronavirus tests to one at the start of the season... with Newcastle boss calling for mandatory testing to increase after mass outbreak at club

Steve Bruce warned the Premier League they were taking a risk by reducing the number of Covid-19 tests to once per week.

Bruce voiced his concerns in a Premier League meeting at the start of the season when it was announced that the twice-weekly tests during Project Restart would be dropped to one.
