Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has indicated that he wants Newcastle target Pepe Reina to continue at the San Paolo next season.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper's future has been under some scrutiny this summer after talks over a proposed new deal with Napoli seemed to stall.
Newcastle have been interested in taking the 34-year-old back to England but De Laurentiis is confident of holding on to the experienced goalkeeper next season.
The Napoli supremo hasn't shed any light on whether he is going to offer a new contract to Reina, but stressed that he wants him to respect his current deal with the club.
