Newcastle United midfielder Siem de Jong has joined Dutch top-flight side PSV on a season-long loan.
The Netherlands international led Ajax to the Eredivisie title before joining United on a six-year deal in July 2014.
He returns to his homeland after two injury-plagued years in England, having started only four of his 22 league appearances so far.
De Jong has not featured for Rafael Benitez's side since their relegation to the Championship.
