Newcastle would be an 'ideal' destination for Eden Hazard in January, claims former Belgium star Marc Degryse and insists 'all the balls will go to him' at St James' Park if he ends nightmare spell at Real Madrid

Eden Hazard would be perfectly suited to a move to Newcastle in the January transfer window and should make the switch, according to former Belgium forward Marc Degryse.

Hazard has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid in the new year, but it is thought he is not keen on swapping the Spanish capital for Tyneside.

Degryse, who made 63 appearances for Belgium through the 80s and 90s, said Newcastle would be a good fit for Hazard.

'Hazard has to go to a team in January where they count on him, where they make him important,' said Degryse told Het Laatste Nieuws via Sport Witness.
