The 19-year-old burst onto the scene in France last season and he is now being chased by a whole host of clubs across Europe.
Newcastle reportedly failed with a £10.5m offer in June, while Barcelona and RB Leipzig have scouted the Senegal international, dubbed the ‘new Sadio Mane’.
But now, according to Ouest France, Sarr is finally set to leave Metz and join Rennes for £13.5m after a fee was agreed over the weekend.
Rennes are in the final stages of talks with the forward and it is hoped personal terms can be wrapped up soon.
