Newcastle United have signed Brighton defender Dan Burn for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Burn is Eddie Howe's second deadline-day signing, after Matt Targett joined on loan from Aston Villa.
Targett has played 126 Premier League games for Southampton and Villa while Burn has 85 Seagulls appearances.
The Magpies also seemed to be closing in on France Under-20 international Hugo Ekitike, 19, but the player had second thoughts on deadline day.
