Since then, the winger has made his debut for Rafa Benitez's team in the FA Cup and earned a whole new legion of fans for the flicks and tricks he likes to bring to every match.
Entering his second season with the Toon, El-Mhanni has set his sights on gaining the precious game time needed for his development, even if that means going out on loan.
