Newcastle flop Siem De Jong has signed a three-year deal with Ajax, according to Dutch newspaper Telegraaf.
The report claims the 28-year-old has agreed terms with the Dutch giants, bringing an end to a nightmare three-year spell on Tyneside.
De Jong made just 26 appearances across all competitions for the Magpies, having suffered several injury problems during his stint with the Premier League side.
However, after a decent loan-spell at PSV, Ajax have been persuaded to sign the forward before Thursday's deadline.
Rafa Benitez had clearly earmarked the sale of De Jong before the window shuts and his departure could bring about further acquisitions.
