Newcastle United target Pepe Reina has rejected a contract extension from Napoli.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper's current deal expires in just over a year and the Italian club want him to agree fresh terms.
However, Newcastle are keen on bringing the Spaniard to England this summer as they look to strengthen their squad.
Magpies boss Rafa Bentiez knows Reina after working with him at Liverpool and it is said the pair are keen on a reunion.
And the possibility of that just got a step closer as, according to Rai, Reina has snubbed Napoli's latest contract offer.
