Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock on loan for the rest of the season.
Sportsmail revealed Steve Bruce's interest at the weekend and the Newcastle manager was eager to get a deal over the line for the 21-year-old before the transfer window closed.
The Newcastle boss saw moves for Ainsley Maitland-Niles and PSG's Idrissa Gana Gueye falter, but the signing of Willock gives the Magpies the added depth in midfield Bruce wanted.
Willock told Newcastle's official website: 'I'd like to thank all the supporters for their warm welcome and messages so far.
