Newcastle record signing Joelinton faces internal disciplinary action after breaching Covid-19 protocols to get a haircut.
The £40million striker posted a picture on Instagram but later removed it when the club were alerted to its existence.
Steve Bruce's squad were struck down by a mass Covid outbreak in November and several employees, including players Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamaal Lascelles, were badly affected.
Joelinton's breach will now be dealt with by the club's hierarchy.
A spokesman said: 'We are disappointed by the image shared by Joelinton (getting haircut).
'There are clear Covid-19 protocols in place and the club continues to guide and educate its players on their responsibilities.
