Newcastle midfielder Miguel Almiron has conceded he wants to play in a team that 'fights more', fuelling speculation he could leave the club this summer.
Steve Bruce's struggling side have only won two of their last 18 league games and lie just two points off the relegation zone - albeit with a game in hand on Fulham in 18th - after a disastrous 3-0 defeat against Brighton before the international break.
Unpopular owner Mike Ashley has backed Bruce to turn things around despite speculation the 60-year-old would be sacked, but the manner of the Magpies' performances have left much to be desired.
