Ian Wright has hailed Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez for guiding the club to tenth place in the Premier League on a shoestring budget.
The Spaniard has ignored takeover talk and an uneasy relationship with owner Mike Ashley to steer the Magpies away from the drop zone.
Benitez has been tipped to take the Premier League's manager of the season accolade for his remarkable work at St James' Park.

Wright said his ability to attract the likes of Martin Dubravka, Kenedy and Islam Slimani had been pivotal to their success.
