Newcastle co-owner Jamie Reuben and a PIF delegation have spoken to Alexander Isak at the striker’s home in an attempt to convince him to stay at the club and return to Eddie Howe’s squad.
Daily Mail Sport can reveal that Reuben and Newcastle director Jacobo Solis met Isak at his house in Northumberland ahead of Monday night’s Premier League clash with Liverpool at St James' Park.
The club want the Swedish striker to return to training and playing for the Magpies after he went on strike in a bid to force a move to Liverpool.
